Peter Guild has the kind of flexible approach you would expect from a company specialising in making beautiful, exclusive upholstery for demanding customers. They can amend their standard specifications in a number of ways to suit your individual requirements.

Bespoke sizes

If space is a consideration, any of their sofas can be altered in width for a small additional charge. They can also make their back cushions a little higher to give more neck support if required.

Bespoke seating

All of their models have been designed with a standard specification in terms of seat and back cushion fillings. However, each is available with a choice of seven seat cushion fillings (foam, firm foam, fibre, feather, feather and down, down and feather and 100% down) and five back cushion fillings (fibre, feather, feather and down, down and feather and 100% down).

Base Treatment

Peter Guild can offer four different types of base finish treatments. However, not all treatments are available on all models. The four different finishes are shown below. Please contact us for further advise on base treatments available on each model.

Cording & Ruching

Peter Guild can also apply cording to upholstery facings and cording or ruhing to cushions to help you create an individual look.

Back cushion types

Peter Guild can offer three types of back cushions. However not all models are suitable for all types.

U - Flex cushions system

The u-flex cushion system is unique to Peter Guild. It comprises a special pack of eight cushions, which combine to give the best of both worlds - the traditional comfort of a formal back with the flexibility of a scatter back.

The pack is made up of -

2 x centre seam back cushions , which are shaped to fit the individual model.
4 x rectangular scatter cushions at 50cm x 45cm.
2 x bolster cushions at 68cm x 33cm.
